#1 BASIC TECHNIQUES - AED450
An Introduction to The Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®️ Method
An introduction to painting with Chalk Paint®️. This 3.5 hour session teaches the basic Annie Sloan techniques to set your imagination alight. You will be inspired by Annie’s practical approach to painting and gain confidence to achieve a range of professional, quality finishes without the fuss. It is recommended that all complete this course before signing on to any of the other courses.
Maximum 6 partipants and Tea/Coffee/Water is provided. These basic techniques include:

Two-colour distresses/aged look which is Annie’s ‘signature’ finish & Wash Effect

Sgraffito technique & One-colour smooth modern look
-
Creating textured paint effect and use of wax to create different colour effects
-
Use of gilding waxes
-
Simple stencil techniques
Using skills learned you will create your own sign to take home

#2 ADVANCED TECHNIQUES - AED500
Introduction to Colour and Style using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®
This workshop is for those who would like to extend their skills further and gain further confidence. It is advised to have completed the Techniques #1 workshop. It covers a large range of techniques using more of Annie’s products to complement and enhance the skills learned in Workshop #1
There is a maximum of 5 persons per course. Tea/Coffee/Water are provided. Techniques include:

Understanding the use of the Colour wheel / use of Colours vs Neutrals

Revision of smooth modern technique

Two Colour ombre

Gilding with Wax & Leaf and Image Transfer

Crackle effect using Craqueleur & using heat

Two tone stencilling
-
Creating texture with paint and with highlighting with waxes

Rough luxe paint technique & Frottage technique

Two Colour blended painting & use of detail brushes

#3 PROFESSIONAL TECHNIQUES - AED450
Paint With Me
Come and paint your own furniture or other small projects under the guidance of a trained professional. You will have access to the full range ofChalk Paint® colours, waxes and other materials.
Share the relaxed workshop space with other creative people and exploring the wonders of Annie Sloan’s decorative paint, Chalk Paint®. All Chalk Paint® and other materials you use on the day will be included in the cost of the workshop. The items you bring should be small enough to carry into the workshop yourself and be finished within four hours. Maximum of 3 participants per session.
