Service Description

An introduction to painting with Chalk Paint®️. This 3.5 hour session teaches the basic Annie Sloan techniques to set your imagination alight. You will be inspired by Annie’s practical approach to painting and gain confidence to achieve a range of professional, quality finishes without the fuss. It is recommended that all complete this course before signing on to any of the other courses. Maximum 6 participants and Tea/Coffee/Water is provided. These basic techniques include: - Two-colour distresses/aged look which is Annie’s ‘signature’ finish & Wash Effect - Sgraffito technique & One-colour smooth modern look - Creating textured paint effect and use of wax to create different colour effects - Use of gilding waxes - Simple stencil techniques Using skills learned you will create your own sign to take home
